realistic stars

i assume northern hemisphere, so we all look at the same stars... been playing a lot of night servers lately and realized, where the hell is the north star? we should see the milky way, everything. put a real sky up there and people might actually learn night navigation from a video game... something rare these days... anyway, how awesome would this be?

i could have sworn i saw orions belt, so i turned around looking for the big dipper, no where to be found...

heh, i just realized, if they do this right, and we calculate how far off the magnetic north is, we can determine where 'on earth' cherny is. lol. god im boring.

They are points though, not a texture so that's why it's just simple looking dots.

I once saw a documentary where the stars aligned into a circle and blew up Earth.
Idk, if it is fake, but it seemed cool.
