Optimal graphics settings
Hey,

Just a quick question;
I've recently built a new computer and i would like to know what graphic settings people would recommend, I don't just want maxinum FPS nor sheer beauty at the expense of FPS, i would like a happy medium between the two.

Computer specs are as follows;

Motherboard: MSI X99A SLI plus
CPU: intel i705930K @ 3.5GHz
Ram: 32bg DDR4
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6Gb
Monitor: Benq XL2720Z @ 144hz

I've messed around with the GeForce expirence reccommended settings, however it seems all a bit too low, so i played around myself and maxed out everything, currently getting around 50fps in the field and 35 to 45fps in the forest (I havent had a chance to go to a big town yet), but it just doesnt feel right not glitchy or anything, it might just be me getting use to the new screen.

Any ideas?

Since this game relies on strong single thread cpu performance, i would try to disable HT on your i7 and see if it changes anything. I`m not really sure if HT virtual core can scale properly (its a physcial core split in two simply speaking) so perhaps disabling it will yield bit more performance.

As for settings, you should be fine with all on max, apart from Objects (which will hit your CPU usage in cities a LOT) and perhaps Shadows.

Also please take a look at this FPS guide by SepticFalcon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdZeaCUUNiY as its a nice reference.
