DayZ
Is DayZ a Rage Inducing game?
I can sum it up in 1 word... Yes.

I've ragequit a few times, but does the game make ME rage? No, don't be so silly.

Every thing nowadays makes you rage in life and not only the games. People do rage in forums as well. So not exlusive to DAYZ at all really.

Hot Weather makes me rage as well, my job makes me rage as well sometimes.

There can be some fustrating moments. Some of them bug related (GAH broke my legs walking down stairs). Some of them related to a lack of knowledge (People starving to death for lack of food on the coasts never realizing that apples are awesome food for thirst and hunger). Some of them because of playing styles (I said hello and he just shot me in the face WTF). Some of them are because of lag (I shot that dude 100 times and he shot me once and I die? WTF!)

For the most case though it is a good game....just understand it isn't finished yet so you'll not have a perfect game no matter what.

I would rather say - stress, not rage.

The game doesn't anger me, the people do. The ones that only want to kill you, and are unable to say why. Honestly I'm not sure why this is my most played game. It's probably only because the only times I interact with people is when I have nothing or I want to die. Otherwise I completely avoid them. It's a vicious cycle, I want to mess around with people, but doing so means I get killed by some ♥♥♥♥. So it's either that, or hide away from people. That gets boring, but I can't bring myself to PvP with a bunch of gear since it rustles my jimmies the thought of some guy stealing my hours of work off my corpse.

So what DO you do when you play, then? Sit in the woods watching all the other kids having fun?
.57 with persistence being off the game is without doubt no more than a pvp fest, which I enjoy. But even when .58 rolls out, I'll still be looking to kill. I won't waste my time setting up camps, I'll raid others' camps and take their stuff.

But isn't rage a part of this game?? You survive the rain, cold, crazied players and finally get geared up only to slip on a ladder and fall to your death. All those hours wasted!!
Ya yell a few choice pharses and get right back to it. lol

This game will make you rage ... swear ... hack accuse ... punch anything close by ... pull your hair out ... cause divorces ... and then the next day load it back up and play for another 2 hours without even thinking about it!!!

It's only a rage inducing game if you have anger issues. Balanced people might get frustrated by some of the goings on, but if you rage because of a game, you should probably seek your fun elsewhere, or find ways to moderate your anger.

Yes and no. I have raged quite a few times but I did never rage quit. The only thing I sometimes do is scream, throw my headset on my table, take a breath for a second and then respawn. Its all I do. I guess I'm just a calm girl now these days. Although if I'm mad... Oh may the odds be ever in your favor.
