Camo doesn't really matter that much, only a ghilly suit would really change alot, in 0.57 for as far as i know it never rains, so ttsko would be more usefull but with 0.58 coming soon and rain (i hope) coming back gorka will be your best piece of clothing next to the rain coat, you simply have no chance of not getting cold when its raining without a waterproof vest, and having to make a fire because you cant make that 300m shot with your winchester hunting scope because you have the "shivers" would be really sad.

TTsKO is always my first choice, i have had players walk straight past me while i was laying on the ground with the ttsko clothing and hunting backpack

As always, your own personal preference is what matters if you're deciding on a strictly appearence based set of criteria, but when it comes to raw stats:

Gorka
- 6 Slots
- 5% Absorbancy
- 12pts Insulation
- 40% protection from bleeding

TTsKO
- 6 slots
- 60% Absorbancy
- 15pts Insulation
- 30% protection from bleeding

What does absorbency do? Is it a damage thing? Because I've noticed TTSKO seems to break easily? Unless I jsut got unlucky every time lol.

I think it's water absorbancy.

If an item has less absorbency it'll repel water instead of absorb it.
Mordax (Banned) Aug 4, 2015 @ 10:06am
Yeah the absorbancy rating tells you how absorbant a material is so the less absorbant it is the better. It would seem Gorka is the better item stat for stat. It's slightly less insulated than TTsKO but when you don't get wet, those 3 points won't matter too much in the long run.

Also, I am pretty sure the damage it takes to break either jacket is random, unless the protection from bleeding stat is also an indicator of how much damage the item can take before breaking and/or allowing you to be injured. I personally prefer the M65 Field Jacket over both of these though for the look and for the slots. My outfit of choice is a khaki or olive Field Jacket with brown or spring Hunter Pants, SMERSH Vest and backpack, and an improvised back pack. I find the more grassier-colored clothing to be better camo in-game because not everyone plays with high graphic settings (and if you solely PvP you usually purposely turn the settings down so there is less cover to obscure vision) so the camo pattern of some clothes (like TTsKO) loses its usefulness. Blending in with the background of the fields using lighter more solid colors gives you more of an advantage.

Pffff, none of both. Hunting outfits all the way!
Or if you really want some green ass stuff, just go Green Cargo Pants with Green Raincoat combination. Add a sweet little Hunter backpack, Smershvest+backpack or a good old high cap vest to that and a little sweet green helmet/cap and you are good to go. Had people walk past me when wearing bright orange raincoats and what not, but when wearing green I was suddenly invisible.

As for TTsKO, I believe its supposed to be water proof. I usually take this if I can't find someting else I fancy more. Got to admit I haven't had the need to search for this stuff [as I know they are on the Island but still] as I prefer the M65 jacket and some green cargo's over everything as its so easy to find. But next patch you won't see me in that anymore, just wearing what I can get :D

Sorry, it's not.

Darth, I know it's not. There was a time that it did let water through a little though. However, I believe so I somewhere read TTsKO and Gorka both should be water proof. Anyway doesn't matter. I would still go with a Raincoat for rain etc anyway, if its all about water. For camo I would go TTsKO if really needed camo clothing. Some hunter pants and a hunter jacket are good camo at this moment anyway.
