I took this from my review when I played DayZ all the time.
So, here's my story! (Also true!)
I went to Cherno, before I could even enter the town I heard Mosin shots crackle in the air, drowning out by the sound of thunder, the rain was comforting, my player was shaking, *boom* *crackle* *pop* goes the sound of bullets. Knowing a multitude of players just met the end of a unforgiving cycle that is DayZ Standalone. I went on the apartment rooftops to get an overview of what was just going on. I looked in with my mosin's long-ranged scope, to see a public execution taking place. There were 2...no...3 players shooting down a line of 5, mostly fresh spawns, Playing as a bandit myself, I would of gladly let the other bandits murder the fresh spawns. But something about the execution bothered me, and I felt the need to help them. The rain was pounding down hard, and I waited for the flash of lightning. *FLASH* 1...2...*BANG* One bandit down, 2 to go. The rest were in shock, looks like I shot the right guy, the fresh spawns were now trying to break the restraints. One of the fresh spawns were murdered, the 4 others stopped trying to break free. 10 minutes passed by, the sound of rain was long over, and Cherno was quite. The ladder of the apartment I was in was being climbed, I turned and pulled out my mp5. One of the bandits have founded me. I shot him before he could get off the ladder, 2 bandits down, 1 to go. The last bandit knew were I was by now, He had murdered another fresh spawn. 3 of them left. My heart was pounding, he was out of sight, I had no clue were he was. I was hearing explosions off in the distance, a hacker was coming to Cherno. I decided there was no time to help those left in the street. I left the apartment and tried running off into the woods. The last bandit was infact watching me, and managed to break my arm and legs. I turned, gun viciously shaking in all directions, and fired blindly...
I had hit the bandit, and broke his leg...
The bandit crawled for cover, the explosions were in sight... I crawled closer to the forest, the town that was once Cherno, was now covered in explosions, I never knew what happened to those fresh spawns, the bandit most likely died in the explosions, or logged.
But for me, I crawled into the forest and hide behind a tree, looking for that hacker, and saw him near the apartments.
I shot, he saw me, and not even a fraction of a second later... I was covered in explosions.
DayZ is awesome, and I'm proud to be apart of the early access experience.
Here I got another one for ya. I just got done looting some military gear, back when they had military gear in elecktro, I got on top of this firehouse(the one thats right by the power station)
and tryed to see if gear spawns on top of rooftops, instead I find a man there and asked if I was friendly I replied steadily and siliently, "Sure... I'm "friendly"." We decided to trade, or at least
he thought since I saw he was friends of the admins, I grabbed my shotgun and blew his kneecaps open. As he layed on the ground half dead and passed out, I placed some handcuffs
on his wrists and took his gun and other gear util he felt "exposed". "I'm going to start this off with one question... Where . Is. You're. Mens. Base." He just looked up at the barrel of the
pistol that I had pointed between his eyes, and then stutterly yelled, FU*K YOU, I'M NOT TELLING YOU SH*T! I then drew my pistol and started circling him since I knew his fellow
admins would be here any minute I had to make this quick, "I'm going to count to three... GO TO HELL! One... Two... Suck my-"Bam" I shot his legs out with a .357 magmum ."The next
one will got to your head if you dont start talking." He didnt talk for a few seconds so I started beating him where he told me that their base was and it was at the shore of cherno. "Cab you
let me go now!? "No, you will die here seconds before your freinds stuble apon your bled out body..." As I go went down the latter I can still hear his screams yelling for me to uncuff him
and telling me that I was going to Hell, pfft I'm Christian, and this is just a video game, realistic
one.
Wow... Just wow... That is what makes Dayz, Dayz. Nice story man.
Thanks man, like the title says, this really happened.
Yea man :) Saw that :) pretty awesome that happened :)
So other players can hear the laughing?
Creepy, that would be mad if he had a clown mask hahaha
Yes, if you are infected with the Kujo virus i this game you will exprience, uncontrollable shaking and laugh/cyring every 3 minutes, oh and die slowly.
It's true man, it happened about two months ago and the man just kept screaming at me as I walked away from the forest to Gorka.
I was walking through Severograd, it was sunny and the morning sun had just risen. I was making my way through, slowly watching for any other people in town. There were a few random Zeds but nothing I had not encountered before. Until the HORDE hit.
While it was not quite like my experiences back in Pennsylvania in 2008 - During the East Coast breakout there was only me, some clerk named Louis, a sweet young girl named Zoey and this tough as nails ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ biker Francis. He screamed like a ♥♥♥♥♥ when bitten by a Zeds FYI.
Anyways, I walked around and came upon a guard house, the police station across the street I made my way quietly and steathily to the guard house. I head a snap behind me and noticed a Zed looking at me, completely aware of me having watched me the entire time while I never heard her behind me, she was quick and attacked me brutally forcing me to take my Magnumj out and waste her ass.
Shaking in surprise and adrenaline I grabbed a Morphine injection, some food, antibiotics and finally a swig out of my Canteen after wrapping my injury. Suddenly another Zed attacked but my trusty Magnum was quicker to the draw or so I thought, 2 more Zeds were rounding the corner screaming at me in terror and hunger. I ran from them leaving my second weapon. I cooly pulled out my Magnum again, shot the first, reloaded and was bitten and attacked by the second and then beaten down by the third I had not noticed I mistakenly backed into rounding the corner NOT looking while reloading.
I ran again but this time 2 Zeds chasing me the city seemed to come alive, I dispatched the last 3 on my heels, rounded another bend and ran into 2 more Zeds. This continued on until 12 Zeds lay twitching or dying on the city streets. My body wracked in spams, my weapons laying helter skelter all over the road, my back pack dropped and no food or healing items. I finally found enough to wrap my wounds, eat and drink some water. I had barely survived. Thank god there seemed to be NO Tanks in this country. I'd had enough of those north american freaks and made it over here after 2009. Everyone left me for dead, but I survived.
My name is Bill.
Yeah and you die while everyone else fled on a bridge and you gave your life while they escaped (Insert "The X file's" music here) Haha nice one.
