Do hunting scopes conditions matter?
Hello :D first off thanks for looking/responding :D Was wondering, since I have a worn one on my Winchester. But my friend says its not as accurate as a pristine one. Is this true? Thanks! :D

the scope does look worse if it worn or damaged, it could be dirty or cracked which will make sniping harder

i had a damaged one, and it didnt look any different. :O not joking at all. i think thats only with katshtians scopes and pu scopes.

I've killed both players & animals with hunting scopes in all kinds of conditions and it didn't make any difference to me at least. but i'm sure it is planned to work like your friends describe it.

p.s. zkiing: you can find them in hunting towers (deer stands) and feed shacks

Yea zking added me about it lol, and yea, i just found a pristine one a few moments ago, so all good now :D <3 thanks boysss

This is true only for PU scope and ACOG/holo/dot sights, hunter scope looks exactly the same be it pristine or damaged.

Same. I have shot quite a bit with the HS (on several different guns) didn't notice any difference from the quality of the scope.
