How to create a fire alone?

How can you create a camp fire alone? To make a fire you must get rocks and wood, but you can only hold the pickaxe or the fire axe. Without several people it seems to complicated, Or am I missing something?

You don't need rocks. But they help.

Why does everybody keep their pickaxes !? It takes 2x6 slots i think ! A stone is 2x2 ! Soooooo...... why have a pickaxe more than 10 seconds till you find a rock to farm ? Why have a farming hoe that is 1x6 again or something, when you can have 3 stacks of 1x1 (4) worms ? Seriousley people, why keep the tools you DO NOT NEED ? Sweet baby Jezus ! :)

just use axe, dont use rocks they nolt needed.
chop wood split into sticks and combine with rags or bandage to make firekit.
then use a log from chop down tree has it usually give 2-3 and put on firekitto act has the fuel.
place on ground and there is your camp fire, use food to cook on it and lighht with matches

Either keep the Fireaxe or Pickaxe in your bag, or collect the stones/firewood and then use it to make your camp fire. I don't see how complicated it is.

Carry a pickaxe on your back and you can everythingelse in a backpack that has 30 slots or more. You can still put the axe on your hotbar and access it that way
