Okay so i played three styles ... the last style i will say is only now available more thanx to last patch.

First was bandit : least favorite ... most fun .... okay nothing was more fun then captureing people takeing there stuff messing around with them *in a fun way* cuz most people would play along ... like roleplay victum and stuff made it fun ... but then to many people would also qq ♥♥♥♥♥ and blah so i'd just shoot um to shut um up haha.

second the hero: .... lol killing bandits not much fun i hated this the most ... cuz i'd kill a bandit save some bambi then the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bambi would kill me after i patched them up.

Bush whacker: ... avoiding towns all togeather .... i stay out in the woods fish kill animals for food build bows and arrows *have to find in town atm* .... other then taht i avoid town and people and just try to survive the outside world ... its peaceful at times and others stress ful out in the woods but i enjoy it the most can't wait till i can build my own little camp and what not.

how do you play / enjoy the game

I play with getting loot, and just doing good for people. My other friends don't really agree with my playstyle, but if we get a hostage, I have to argue with my friends to let them go. So I am basically a Hero.

2 days ago we spotted 2 guys @ 800m distance. We just fired 1 mag in their direction to scare them, nobody expected to hit a single round - they ran like chickens :D
What playstyle is that? :P

I kinda got tired of killing people just for the heck of it. And I kinda got tired of been killed just for the heck of it.

So I'm not running around too geared up anymore, then I'm no longer an interesting kill. My main goal is meeting weird people, but I miss some more role playing and people making up backstories.

Other way of playing is making quick missions, like looting the military base and get out, or helping a fresh spawn, stuff like that.

I sm a Lone wolf and live in the woods (pun intended)
I had a bow and I thought it would go where my melee wepeon would be but I has the ashwood stick there.
I have a mosin and AKM, Long and a 1911.
I can't wait till we get tents and they work.
I will be living on the very northwest of the map :D
in the next update I think they are going to have a new town above the Construcion site next to the NWAF. I'm at the site atm :)

Let me put it this way I have a Mosin with a Long range scope, a buttload of ammo, A pickaxe, and a ton of food. I sit up on sniper hill killing anyone who messes with people. So say I see a newspawn, and someone walks up to the newspawn and kills him/her then I aim and rain hell upon the bandit. I guess I am a little bit of both a Bandit and a Hero.

Survival Hero. I hold ppl up, take their ammo for safety, and give them food.

When I'm looking for gear I try to avoid players as much as possible, when I do have gear I try to be a hero, head to Berezinho and try and find players and give them food, water and teach them spainish. I once chased a guy and shot him in the knee cap just so I can give some food and water.... patch his leg up with a splint.

I've only killed 5 players I don't try and kill bandits, I prefer shooting them in the knee caps and running off let them be eaten by a zombie.

My five kills:

1. Punched a bambi because he wanted to respawn somewhere else.

2. Went to offer a bambi some food, but he put his fists up and said "fight me, so I shot him with my revolver while saying "I can put my fists up too".

3/4. I was approaching the police station when I looked down my scope and saw that there was a mugging by two bandits. So I went around the back and then sneaked in and shot the two bandits..... but it turned out that the guy who I thought was being mugged wasn't being mugged (he was just putting his hands up for no reason) and the two guys I killed were his friends.... So I dropped a can of beans and shot him in the knee so he couldn't chase me and then ran away.

5. I met a player armed with a spade and he looked very threatening, I then asked him he wanted to learn Spainish (my character is in Dayz is Dora the Explorer) and he said no.... so I shot him.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes lurking about Svetlo looking for kills. Sometimes roaming the woods alone. I always play alone so I don't have other people to worry about. makes the game a bit more intense that way.

I've started sniping at the airfields. First, it's good practice for stealth and targeting. Second, it's a great way to gear up. Third, the rush of downing one or more, then hauling A to their corpse to loot it, hoping you got them all, then hightailing it back to cover is the best.

On that last note, hit a guy in the tower at NWAF this morning, put down his buddy in the Firestation (don't stand by the window motionless, noob), waited, ran out to loot. No shots or resistance while I looted Firestation kill (pristine protector case, and some nice M4 attachments and ammo, but he had a mosin). Then, while I was in the tower, someone started shooting at me - couldn't tell where it was coming from, so tried to wait him out - couldn't even get to the corpse, pretty sure it disappears after 10 min. Finally made a feint for the door, no shots, so ran like a retread, shucking and jiving for the trees - not knowing if I was running toward him or away.

Made it, but probably 15 of the most tense minutes I have ever had in this game.

I don't consider this total scumbaggery, because you have to figure that if you're highly geared, looting an airbase, you're fair game.
