Dayz vs Nether vs Rust vs The Forest

Hello guys,

I'm a fan of survival games and here at steam we all know this 4 games. My question is:

Which game should I buy?

Nether: Probably not... The PvP is just stupid. Everyone killing everyone, not for me.
The Forest: Perfect i guess, good graphics, crafting system (which I love), etc...
Rust: Crafting system and a good comunity.
Dayz: IDK :(

They all are in Alpha or Beta or something, there are still lots of bugs and stuff that is normal at this fase. But what i want is THE game that let me play with my friends (theoest doesnt have co-op...yet) and getlet me cft my own base or shelter.

I dont want to be always running around, as I dont want to spawn and die by some sniper dude killing noobs XDDD. What do You guys think?

I've whatched some DayZ and i love this game, but what do u guys feel about his ongoing progress?

Updates and stuff? What do the Devs say? Are they updating this often or they have earned their money and left this game ?!

--> Forgot to add: They said something about DayZ using an engine that is not the best and should be unreal engine or something like thta, also the zombies that are not the main threat (they shouldbe cause it's a zombie survival game, more types of zombies and habilities...), they also said DayZ have some mod????? I know nothing of these.

Buy 7 days do die and play PvE.

DayZ is not the game for you if you want to just survive with your friends - it's kill or be killed.

Nether has microtransactions so it's a no.

Rust is too gay - a bunch of naked man running arround with torches and having gay orgies in their all the same houses.

I haven't played the forest

Project Zomboid is great for surviving with friends as well.

DayZ is something you want to buy becuase like you said you want a good a coop and survival and remember it is alpha and still in progress so of course the engine and zombies will need work but because you also want crafting get the forest but later to see if they will add coop mode

I understand and as You said Nether is a no...
DayZ Stand Alone?! What is this? A survival game should be in group, meaning the co-op of this game and rust and possebly forest should be great!! Do u have any fedback about DayZ in this way (the co-op) ?

I want to be able to craft in DayZ, build a house or some barricades. Is this already in the game ? Or is this just me?

I dunno Project Zomboid but I know 7 ways to die... and the gameplay and graphics suck XD probably cause it's still very very alpha...

i like DayZ a lot and It´s fun to play with friends.. the problem at the beginning is, that you can´t spawn at your friends place.. you have to find out were you are and were your friend is. Then, maybe you have to run a few minutes to find your friend. DayZ is still very bugy, but the developers work on it. And there will be a lot of new stuff in the future.

I just startet playing Nether, so I can´t say a lot about it.. but i think i like DayZ more..
The forrest looks good, but I think the concept of DayZ is better.. (Just my opinion)
I can´t say anything about Rust.. I never played it and i probably never will.

Maybe you watch a few videos on youtube to see which game looks best to you.

Well i purchased DayZ with the intention of looking at some of those other games too shortly after. However DayZ has sucked me in leaving me no time for the others. Yes, i could be missing out if one is better, but for now im happy with my purchase.

Based on my experience I would start with DayZ. If/When you get bored then move to the next best one.

Updates are getting better and better, once the navmesh zombie bug thingy is fixed (supposedly soon) alot of complaints will be dealt with in one go.

Following this, the vehicles will be a major game changer.

Oh and 64bit servers, as there needs to be more zombies/animals etc.

Oh and persistant servers with loot respawns!

Oh and glitchless walls/camera clipping (currently everyone leans in to walls to look through, this means you are not safe in any building but better off in a bush). This leads to a lot of unnecessary KOS which is another complaint. If they fix the wall glitches, KOS will decrease a certain percentage.

Apparantly these things are all coming, so the end game looks very promising. You will see a lot of complaints as everyone wants these things now!! ...including me :-)

I've seen all of this games in Youtube, I've read a ton of foruns and seen other ton of reviews.

Rust - The Forest - DayZ are the ones in discussion. I've realized Nether - Project Zomboid and 7 Ways to Die are not an option.

I'm not going to buy all 3 - Expensive... So in terms of Updates, new content to the game, graphics and the most important: The co-op.

Which of these 3 games is THE game?

In my opinion it´s DayZ.. I really like the atmosphere of the game. I've played it 150 hours and I have seen a lot of things and met a lot of people
It`s really nice if you find friendly people and play the game with them and your friends. Like a 10 man army with no fear ;D
But a lot of the players are bandits and kill you immediately :(
But PvP is also a part of the game. A lot of people get bored after looting a few places, so they decide to go to kill other players ;)

If you don`t have a lot of money, you could wait the rest of summersale.. maybe DayZ gets cheaper.. but I really don`t know..
