Makle sure you are aware of the current rules for servers, you are quite limited on what you can and cannot do right now.
As it stands server owners have no ability to put passwords on servers or enforce any kind of house rules.
Private servers have been promised for some time in Q3 and this would be the best way to start a server.
never add those 15yo kiddies in elektro to your frinedslist on steam! they will ♥♥♥♥ u with Server reset requests!
Ok sounds like good advice thanks but where do you go to rent a server i cant find a link on steam or on the web site.

These are the providers for a DayZ server, have in mind that servers at this time are not cheap, and does not come with much controll at all.
This may also give you a quick overlook at what is allowed and what isn't.
