Even on lowest settings? I seem to be able to play Ghost Recon Phantoms on it well on high settings so...
I did it and it says click here for the latest (whatever it is). So do I need to upgrade it because there are no X's for minimum requirements. They all have circles with checks in them and CPU speed has an exclamation mark.
also, you have the 4GB memory one? that's a bit low, you won't get the best performance on games that aren't optimized yet, but honestly SA is a lot more cpu intensive i believe at current.
[edit] nevermind, i see it now, should be playable, but horrible performance [/edit]
Depends how you classify 'play'.. if you want to watch a slide show on the lowest settings, that is the pc for you..
if you want to actually play and enjoy the game.. spend more than $500.. as Too-DAMN-Much said, it is very CPU intensive.. and that pc runs the GFX FROM the CPU.. so you're asking the CPU to slog its guts out to just execute the game, you're also asking the CPU to draw everything as well.. not gunna end well.. :(
You can. Although i must warn u even with "big machines" , the game still has FPS problems .
Game is far from being finished.
I actually upgraded the RAM to 8GB if that helps. So you're saying I CAN play it but it'll be laggy on low settings. I looked on the website you told me to go to and it says that my computer passes the minimum for play Dayz and is in the middle of minimum and recommended.
but basically if you want to play any games and not just be wasting money DO NOT get a HP.
Oh... you already have it.... why didn't you just list the specs instead of sending us to a website that sells it then? That's misleading. Oh well, good luck with that pos.

All for around $685.00 or so when I bought parts. Like I said not the greatest, but it plays games really well considering my laptop cost more and sucks at playing Counterstrike. Hope it helps!
Edit: oops just read that you already own it sorry for the long reply.
will that cpu cut the mustard for this game, I know they were powerhouses when released, but do they stand up to it now?
