Sound cuts out

Dose anyone have a problem with their sound cutting out completely and just hearing a kinda bugged static noise I've checked with different headphones and checked my audio files for my computer and nothing is wrong its just the game sound cutting out. I have played youtube at the same time as this happens to me but all other sounds and game sounds with other games work

check your windows sound settings and disable any extensions like 'virtual surround' or some such.

all other sounds work on my computer except for dayz

Microphones are a new problem with this new bullsh*t 1.18 update. ast don't know what he's talking about because it's a regular bug in the new update

Cannot say that I have this problem, been fine since update, seen another post about this though.

its something on your end so you didnt check everything

My friend had a similar problem the other day, all other games audio and pc sounds working, he said he could even hear the DayZ music at the main menu but once he logged into a server his game audio cut out. I had him login to a server, we then opened Windows Volume Mixer and looked for DayZ, expanded the entry via the arrow on the right and changed the 'Output Device' until he found one that worked. Hope this helps!

This is the same issue i am having. I have not had any issues before the update now i do

its something on your end so you didnt check everything

I build computers for a living so clearly its dayz that is at fault
