Quickbar missing

I have searched all over to figure out how to get my quickbar to return. Anyone else experience a missing quickbar on DayZ 0.57? It has gotten me killed twice now as I don't have the ability to quickly access a gun. Please, any help greatly appreciated.

is it too hard to access the inventory and drag your gun into hands? Maybe report your bug to the tracker if it really has disappeared.

had this happen to me too but since it's far more reliable to simply drag the gun to your hands instead of messing about with a sometimes unresponsive UI, well it wasn't that important

Yes I've loaded into 1st person only and 1st/3rd and I do not have any quick access bar down below. Nor does it work if I hit 1-9. Really weird, but definitely a significant thing to be missing. It is missing when I play on both my laptop and tower PC. Thats why I was wondering if there was some setting I turned off or what.

check you key bindings i believe there a binding for the UI now. yeah its right control + H to toggle hud.

just tried it and it does nothing sorry.

All the sudden reappered. Weird because I played for 4-5 days and nothing was there. Today i logged in and it was there. Hopefully it stays for now. Not sure why it came back. Thansk for your help.

If you tried to enter a truck with a gun in your hands, it deactivates the hotbar down below. The only thing that ever fixed it for me was to log out and log back in. Always works after I do that. Hope this helps, even if you didnt experience getting into a truck with your gun in your hands, try logging out of the server and then logging back in.

Heethan13: That works, but you can also just use something in your inventory (drinking a canned drink, eating some food, applying a bandage etc) and it should fix it as well. A better solution in a gunfight. I found this on one of Commander Pixel's videos.

Sometimes your video scaliing will put the hot bar off your screen.

I thought I had tried that and it didn't work, but the next time (if there is a next time, I try to remember to put my gun away before getting into a truck) I will try that fix.
