WARNING: Black Lake "quicksand"

Maybe this has been known before, but as I spend a lot of time in the Black Lake area of the map, it's new to me, so thought I would share...

I was on the NJ 2-2 server, running around my favorite campground (Black Lake, N of Berezino, just NW of Shipwreck @ Rify), where I like to camp (not on NJ 2-2, a diff server, lol), and a Fav loot spot of mine is the Police Car area in that parking lot off the road as you approach the Pub.

They musta re-arranged it for .57 -- the building has moved, one of the junk vehicles is gone, but the Police Car is still there, and I thought I would check out new layout...

There is a pile of grey "muck" (for lack of a better word) that is supposed to be a trashpile, or maybe badly graphicd rocks (not sure TBH) on the West side of parking lot before you go around the corner of the lot, coming from the Pub. I just went to run over it to go on to the parking lot, and I got my butt STUCK, like waist-deep in the grey muck stuff... a lot of heavy use of the "V" key, and I got to parking lot, but had to drop my SKS in the process (a new .57 glitch, go to use V key to step over something, and if you have a gun on your back, and a different gun in-hand, you auto-drop the gun in-hand...real nice devs, are you trying to torture me? lol).

So I creep to edge of parking lot, looking hard at SKS, trying to get ( Take ) to come up, and the damn muck SUCKED ME BACK IN -- this time for good. Already been to http://feedback.dayzgame.com/ to cry like a little bich (so damn embarassing, lol), and scream for help... but BEWARE if you go to see new parking lot layout @ Black Lake -- AVOID THE GREY MUCK!!!!!!

For some reason, I can't take a screenshot using F-12 when I am holding in the Alt key to pan camera, so took a static shot the direction my guy was facing in 3rd person, but in the pic, the parking lot is behind me and I am facing the direction of the Black Lake Pub and 3 sheds there. You can see the grey stuff to the left...but it is NOT rock...in-game, it looks more like grey ash or trash, in pic, it looks more like rocks -- it is niether...when I went in the deeper stuff, I was up to my waist. Even here at the edge of it, I am glued tight. :(

Be warned... when the developers save you from the quicksand the place you log in next time may be across the map! I got stuck in a rock in the Far north and asked for assistance from the developers and in 24 hours they save me from the rock and placed me standing next to the police station in Vybor!

there are multiple spots like this since 57. Ppl are taking advantage of this and glitching under the map and killing ppl while "invisible". Some ppl just like to ruin it for everyone else.

To pick up the gun you drop when vaulting, just start to eat or drink something in your inventory (gotta click on it in inventory, don't try and drag to hands) then cancel action. The gun will be back in your hands. Similarly, go start to climb a ladder, then go back down. When the animation puts you back on the gorund, the gun will be at your feet.

LOL...only time it happened before this, was the house just northeast of Fire Station/Power Station complex in Elektro...I logged out in the house (never do that in one of those raised houses...learned my lesson, lol), and they put me IN the fire station to unstick me...not too bad, distance-wise from where I was stuck, but when I spawned in I had about 5 seconds to get a gun out, as 2 Z were bearing down on me, lol. Good times...

Don't see how I could even try to do an exploit like that in my current spot...was all I could do to V out the first time, and 2nd time I was glued there, no way to go under or anything like that...but yea, if peeps do that crap, hope they get banned -- I would MUCH rather be running around Black Lake having fun then be in my current mess...
