Cannot tear t-shirts anymore into rags?
Started off today for 0.58 and log in a fresh spawn. First thing I normally do is take off my shirt and tear it up for bandages. Now I cannot and same goes with bandanas. Anyone else noticed this?

I used a steak knife and that did nothing.

Make a stone knife out of a stone, works perfectly. However, that may be your own bug, l could not craft an improvised backpack yesterday however hard I tried.

Seems funny how you can cut up a t-shirt with a stone but not an actual knife itself. Thanks anyway, I will give it a go.

Maybe you just need to relog or change the server, this game's mechanics is a mystery.

I did both of those things and nothing happened. I just thought it was a bug honestly. Maybe it is just me:(

Can only use bladed weapons now to get rags now, hopefully using a bladed weapon to cut rags up wont damage the weapon quickly

I could vouch that steak knife works as well for cutting rags. Gonna check it...

ffs, you necro'd a 2015 post (early game version), to ask how to make RAGS in 2023 (newer game version).. There are literally HUNDREDS of videos on YT giving tips, tricks and basics,

...but since we are all here already, you HOLD a knife or other bladed items (knives, hatches, axes, screwdriver, sickle, garden hoe, etc) and then either look at or combine with, almost any shirt, jacket, pants or skirt/dresses .. you will get a prompt to "craft rags".

And before you get snippy and say "I know how to make rags, I meant how to add parameter" .. It's irrelevant, as THAT was a workaround for a version of the game from EIGHT years ago (v0.58) .. The game has changed, and that is not a thing now.
