If I set Stereo Mix as my default recording device, play something trough VLC and then use the mic key ingame, will others hear what I play?

I just tried this and nobody seemed not to say anything about it nor did the bars turn green in the recording devices tab. What am I doing wrong? I dont want to download crazy soundboards and shiz like that

If you've set it up properly, yes. But they'll also hear everything else on your computer, like Teamspeak, Skype, the game itself, Youtube, Steam, etc.

only for my curiosity, how can you survie when you watch youtube, talk in skype and teamspeak and chat in steam while you are playing?

I don't have anything else than what I want to play on, so it doesn't matter, but as I said, I did not set it up right
