Although I don't get how you get your hands on the pole? Flags are looted but do you craft the pole or what?
edit. oh "a base object". So apparently you craft it.
Thank you Ted and Deaths

its the Dayz SA version of a plot pole
Could they be also considered as freshie catnip? Geez, the list could get pretty long :-)
You may be thinking of Epoch or another spin off.... or a heavily updated vanilla mod, i know they did expand the base building when Rocket went over to BI and stopped working on it.
The classic Dayz Vanilla only ever had tents, sandbag walls and the barbed wire with that visual glitch so you saw a big flash of white where it was placed :)
Ahh yeah i forgot about those 2, i heard that after SA they kept going adding a lot more items to it, like pretty much all the props. Saw a vid of a guy building with shipping containers, maybe feels a bit much that :)
The proper origonal Dayz mod didnt have any of that. Those big bases made of wood were part of epoch or overwatch "mods of the mod" type things. I still play SA like I did the mod base wise. Dont use big wood walls but just rely on concealment, sticking single tents (maybe a barrel) as deep into a cluster of trees as i can :)
