So I am a big sniper and a hero (I know you cant belive it) but in places I know are mostly bandits like the Air fields I want to have a sniper on hand but the only high dmg good scope one is the .308 wincester but I would like to know if they are adding in a good sniper like a mili one and a scope I can range with like the DMR

They do they have the SVD, what do you mean a scope you can range with? Do you mean a range finder that is used within the scope?

I personally would like to see a USA style sniper like the M40A1 just to have the option of something different.

I mean like the DMR scope where if something is 4 dots high its normal so you dont have to pre range everything when its hard to rember something if you are overwatch guarding yor freinds

Also some thermal scopes so bush wookies arnt basicly invisible than you dont have to worry as much about electro sniper hill

I want a .50 cal, just because. Won't get that either. And some choppers would be cool...but they will most likely make us find prop blades for them to make them usable, so I guess not..maybe when modders can get on them, then you will see all kinds of stuff, but modding is far down the road at this point...

Not trying to be a troll (honest), but they have added a LOT of content since I started more than 1K hours ago...maybe too much clothing and not enough weapons (did we NEED wool dresses, really?), I will grant you. But it isn't supposed to be CoD, it's supposed to be about "total survival" and they want you to have to grow food, hunt critters, etc.

I beg to differ, the SVD IS a military sniper (Dragunov sniper rifle, Russian squad support weapon, first came out in 1963, so...) The Mosin WAS, back when you could add a LRS, but when devs added the SVD, they disabled the LRSs for the Mosin...how many hours you got in game OP? Look around, the SVD is very nice, it spawns in WITH its scope, and it also makes a half-decent assault weapon, albiet not as good as AK or M4 for that use, as it is primarily meant to be a sniper rifle, but its auto fire gives it that duel use IMO....

I KNOW modders will be adding more stuff, so be patient, but the devs while we still in EA Alpha? Who knows...but it does stand to reason if US and Russian soldiers left weapons laying around (AKs/M4s, etc,), there should be a US sniper rifle besides a civ .308 (which does do a nice job as a sniper rifle if you can find at least a "worn" hunting scope in one of the deer stands...just sayin).

If you are a big sniper you dont need stuff like: Full Auto sniper, x16 magnification , rangefinder,...

The only thing you need is a Huntingrifle, 1 bullet and a good position.

You don't need anything else beside a Win 308 with scope. If you can't find the Winchester, slap that scope on a Blaze.

Oh and bullets.

trumpet,sporter,blaze,winchester, SVD, all are great sniper weapons, maybe an sks or mosin with a pu? an mp5? lots of options

Yes but they are all very hard to range with and range finder needs batteirs which are really rare until .59 comes out

SVD is NOT a sniper rifle. It's a DMR. Theres a difference.

If you're such a "big sniper" why do you have issues ranging? On your profile it says you're a really good sniper IRL and in games, I find that hard to believe after this discussion and your comments on it :D.
