but i only get cold when i havent found any raincoat or something to keep me warm in the night
or when im wearing to much stuff and cant find any water to cool down.
when its not raining and im running nearly all the time while checking deerstands only for a scope for example, not wearing a vest or ghilli stuff i never got hot
so i think its working like it should.
havent noticed any differences between 3 hrs day/ 1 hrs night or 4 hrs day / 4hrs night servers
day only neither, only a bit more rain but that could be my imagination or blurred memorys
:)
Its what you're wearing, where you are, the weather conditions and what you're doing that will make you hot, cold or just right.
Why can't I see my breath anymore (regardless of what I'm wearing), and why don't you get cold as fast as you used to? It used to be that if all you were wearing was a hoody, pants, and a normal hat, if you got rained on you would cool down super fast and get hypothermic and die. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Now you would basically have to get naked, stand still, and get rained on over the course of 20-30 minutes to get hypothermic and die.
Where's the fun in that? Campfires and super warm clothes were your weapons against the cold, much like armor and military gear are your weapons against players and axes and stealth are your weapons against zed. It feels like they removed one of the threats when it comes to the global temperature.
Now I'm basing what I remember of the global temp on when the temp system was released. And while it was broken at the time (mainly because at that same time there was issues with loot spawns and new players/people that didn't know how to play would just die to hypothermia over and over again), it just seems like the raised it a little too much and made the temperature system trivial.
I explained it about as good as I could in that last post, bud. Dealing with overheating is fine as it is, but there's no threat of becoming too cold anymore. They need to find a better balance.
Oh right on. Thanks for letting me know, Select This.
