Sigh, I've had this since launch and they just seem more focused on guns/adding towns/animals/plants than you know, optimisation....methods of travel?
Unless you are into the whole PVP experience, the game doesn't offer much.
Well, there's always "Roleplay" but that's probably up to you really.
The thing I hate is it used to be common that people you ran into WOULDN'T instantly kill you, they would talk, now nobody ever EVER talks it's only KoS or be killed.
People seem to forget what the mod used to be like and treat this like H1Z1 BR
Heh well, people's reaction in the mod compared to the SA is miles ahead.
That's because the fresh spawns were defensless and admitedely the reputation system helped.
Now in SA,freshspawns are like a packs of wild boxers hitting anything that moves and there is no reprecussion or rewards to not kill another player.
If they don't implement something that makes the survivor's lives more worthy other than just mere "walking lootbags",the situation won't be improving for a long time!
Do all your friends irl live right next door to you?
Yeah, pretty sure this is widely known to be part of survival games as a genre.
The mod was never like that.
You are not comparing Day Z SA to real life, are you?
other than that vehciles are good way of getting round but with how hard it can be to find weapons etc really unless your with agroup they are too loud and make too much of a distaction by your self, so your more than likely to lose it quicker than you found it, so yes walking takes awhile but usualy the safer option
It was when I played it
The vanilla mod had even "Rarer" vehicles spawns. You must have been playing a mod of the mod. ;)
