how to cure cold?

since the new update theracyline seems not to help against cold anymore?
i alrdy eat 4 theracylines, 2 coals and 1 painkiller pill and its still there.

do i need to sit on a campfire may? or can it just been cured by vitaminpills? (that i not carry)

food, warmth and vitamins are your best friends.

Tetracycline alone sometimes doesn't do the trick - it depends on the overall status of your immune system which can be boosted by the aforementioned.

High immunity is the best way to get rid of it. Max out your food and drink meters - drink from a well until the stomach icon shows, pop a vitamin and cold should disappear.

The Namalsk stuff I saw on frostbite made it seem permanent.

Frostbite, can appear when the cold status remains for a prolonged time, unlike a common cold or flu, frostbite is permanent and will decrease your max health and can not be cured by beeing close to a fire or staying hydrated/full.

If your max Heealth is decreased and won´t go up with tetracyline or eating/drinking/staying warm, then your only chance of cure is a repawn.

If your health is okay, staying warm and full, should heal you over time.
Pills,(vitamins/anti-biotics)will speed up the process.

Kuru and Frostbite are the only permanent negative stats,
Flu/Cold&Infections, pass over time.

In my recent experience the only thing that does any good is multivitamins. Take one, see the pill symbol down on your stat line. Take another each time the pill symbol goes away until the 'disease' symbol-looks like a stylized virus particle-is gone also.
As far as I know any other medication is worthless for treating the coughing, sneezing cold you get from being cold and/or wet too long.
