is the vaiga any good

i pick it up on got some rounds in it soooo yaaaa is it good?

well its a semi-automatic shotgun. its powerful. u can go crazy with it with larger mags, but it has quite some recoil.

it's full auto iirc and with a 20 rnd drum mag you can wreak real havoc...especially on bears.

I had better results with buckshot at close range...at least they do way more health damage.

I've killed two people with it recently, first one with slugs, second with bucks. I kinda like it. Better in CQC, but then most fights you are aware of play out this way in my experience.

well i just ran into 3 people and it shreded through 2 out of the 3 my buddy dies but killed the other one but now im stuck with viaiga now because its ruined that was a 2v3 omg it was fun

Personally I would much rather have a double barrel. It has double shot mode which can drop a player with a plate or a bear in one shot. The recoil of the saiga is so severe it makes the full auto function almost pointless.

Yeah, shot has better "splash/collateral" damage than slugs
but far worse pen. At close range the shot peppers the whole body.
I usually (If i get the chance) Alternate between slug and shot
when i load.

It's pretty good on semi auto though.
I never use full auto on anything, just a waste of ammo.

The Vaiga is very good for CQB, it's short and with buckshot, will hit your target with little effort .. better than all short rifles or SMGs, in my opinion, for close contact.
- The only real down-side is it's loud, and can't be silenced.

Don't try to use it in pvp. It's outclassed by most things. For whatever reason it doesn't do nearly as much damage as the other shotguns.
