Are some PC servers still down?

The official chernarus server i usually play on is showing up as unreachable since the update hit. it shows that it requires version 1.25 but ive obviously updated to 1.26. only can see the server still because its favorited. initially couldnt get any servers at all after the update so this is at least improvement. Switching to a new one is better than not being able to play at all atp i guess, but i had stashed loot on that server so im kinda bummed about it.

Your stashed loot won't matter, all the official servers and characters are wiped, if and when you get back in to your official server, you are a freshie and your stashes are gone for good. If this annoys you, i suggest you play in community servers or follow the golden rule in DayZ: Never get attatched to your gear.

What i've seen in the last 30 minutes of server and DayZ browsing, the official servers are down, BI will get them back in time, just give them time and play other games or go and have fun in PVP community server or then just start you "official" DayZ career in community server, there are many, from where to choose one, that suits you.

You sure? because I just joined an official server and it works. It's with the "Livonia" map though. I've seen the new one but obviously can't access it without the DLC.

The thing that sucks is, I join servers with their ping being around 50-80ish (I make sure to join ones under 100 ping) and then I fail to join because my ping is high? (shows 300> 300 something) I wish I could see my own ping if that is really the case.

The ping is confusing, might show 50 one time and when you check again, it'll be a bit higher. Also, are the maps settings different? because I feel like you starve quicker and find less loot in Chernarus but playing in Livonia, I can find good loot, food etc (granted maybe not super quick but I have like 3 guns so far being in Livonia)

I checked the servers again and now i see them, i can't see my own official server that i use, it is still down and grau and has red cross before server name and say *partial data mismatch' but that's just one server.

I play mostly on my own server and do hope, that officials now work enough well for others to play in them.

What comes about the ping, i don't have any issues with that, although i play in mo own one and i haven't read or heard any issues about the starving system and i bet the loot parameters are just the same as usual xD

Cool, glad you can see them now.

You have to pay for your own server, right? I wish I could make my own (kinda like how you can make your own servers in V Rising and others, without having to pay) that way, I won't have to deal with ping issues and whatnot.

Well, I was able to play with no issue. Just had to get off because it turned night and I don't have a light source lol. Too many Infected around to try and wonder in the darkness.

I'm probably the only person focusing on the hunger/starving issue. Maybe others just know how to find/get food quickly but I am telling you, Trying to find food/loot in Cherno is much harder than in Livonia, for me.
