really no big deal to find some bladed weapon or simply craft a knife to peel it.
sure it would be better to be able to CLEAN the potato instead to peel it.
it wont break the game anyway.
This is really a waste of development funding for a change like that when they could have focused on more important things like better user control interface and organization.
I survived in the woods for weeks because I could not stand listening to anyone's mouth in real life, potato's last months and only require washing.
I know I would rather eat a RED potato raw without peeling before a russet potato or a red onion before a yellow, they should have added more food and implemented peeling and cooking for certain types of stuff that really require it.
The fatigue of the life span of an item is consistent to the lack of knowledge in programming of items, like a knife can last longer than the person who owns it in real life if properly used, or a suppressor, when the suppressor in pristine condition breaks after two or three shots like it was made of fiberglass and then the knife breaks like it was made of the same material.
The game took survival into the wrong direction when the game was based on realism with-in an infected apocalyptic scenario.
Well after reading this I think I am going to make some home made potato chips since the price of a gallon of gas is more than a small bag of chips, and by the time I get done making chips after over an hour of work, someone might be able to find a potato in game and a knife to peel it before they rage quit or starve in game or the above many possibility's to re-spawning to the senseless insanity circle.
