Is Livonia map a must buy?

It's not a must buy, you can play without it. But if you like a more survival focused map, it could be worth it.

No, certainly not. But, i like it as do many others.
It is considered to be harder for PvP by some although that has not been
my experience.

If you are new to game, hold off. It is by far my fav. map. But there are many you can get for free. (mods) IMO This map should have been free as well, but that is a different convo. to be had.

To me, it is the best survival map out there. but it also has to be set up that way from the server owner. Even if you play dayz for 2 years, this map may never be your thing. So I would wait, see

first, if you like the game and want to play more.
2nd, you played other maps an d still want more.
3rd. a sale.

It is a great map, but not for everyone. If in 6 months time you find you play the game a ton, love the survival or pvp aspect of the game, then throw the money at it.

Better free maps. I have 4k hours and spent maybe 10 hours or so on that map. Some like it.. others hate it. Deer Isle which is free is way better.

Yeah definitely not a must buy. I bought it when I first bought the game because it was only a few extra dollars. I really haven't played it much tbh. Namalsk and Deer Isle are my favourite maps by far and both are free.

I've played more hours on Namalsk than any other map there's something about the way it feels. I think it's the lighting and the amazing music. Really looking forward to the DI content update coming soon. Does anyone have an exact date? All I know is it's coming spring 2022.
