you'll get lazy and likely won't learn the map for real
and at night you can even navigate by the stars :)
Every time I start a fresh Cherno or Livonia run I tell myself “no izurvive….no map…..just get lost in the world”. Then 45 mins later I’m on izurvive trying to find the nearest water well. Lol.
A map the size of Chernarus would take a new player thousands upon thousands of hours to learn by memory and not use any outside help. Hell, I tend to walk in circles when I’m lost. I think I’m near the center of the map headed west when I pop out on the east coast right near where I started. Ffffffff!!!!
I miss getting lost and not knowing where to find things. It was a time full of adventure and uncertainty.
And thanks for advice everyone I am working on using sun more and trying to use roadsigns to see where I am on the map.
I made it a bit farther inland last round and I will keep learning.
100% correct.
You don't even need to down load it. Just go to the website and use your browser.
Start on modded servers with maps, or use an external map.
