How do I commit suicide?

I dont want to keep spawning in the middle of forests and spending 10-30 minutes finding something to commit suicide on.

I found the suicide key (f11) but it has no effect

you must have gun to commit suicide and you character should be in standing mode
you opened a lot of threads asking so many questions won't be better to use google or youtube for basic learning

Everything sharp can be used, terrain can be used, fire, npcs, water - its all very easy but... Why do it? Its a survival game. Its not about getting "best spawn" but making best out of each and every one. Please dont seek end when its not the time for that. Its too easy.

I don't even know why they even bothered to give us the option to choose a character model starting out when there is no option to keep it mates. I always felt that should have been a basic setting in the game for people who didn't want to respawn with a random character model after their first death. That and dealing with consistent and pointless server wipes kills any real motivation to really try and progress for very long. This is the game I play when I want to loot a few things. Shoot a few things and then move on. lol

You can keep your custom character and always respawn as that same character.

I’ve only played maybe one server ever where I was forced as a random.

Oh awesome! I didn't know they added that option in game now. It wasn't a thing when I last played. Had been thinking about revisiting this game since it had been a minute. See what all has changed and stuff. I'll have to look for that option. Thanks mate.
