Not owning Frostline
So, I bought the DLC. I may have friends who want to play, but they won’t pay the $ for a map.

Question being: what happens with a map like Namalsk where it’s updated to use the new system of heat buff, snow fx, etc if someone were to not own the Frostline dlc? Would my friends that don’t own Frostline still be able to play something like Namalsk?

Assuming the changes made for Sakhal are also coded into the base game, this shouldn’t be an issue, correct? Was curious since there’s no snow fx on Chernarus or Livonia…..so thought maybe, perhaps, there could be some sort of conflict on a map like Namalsk. These are things I should probably know and understand after 1,100 hours but I don’t hahaha.

No conflict they just won't be able to play Sakhal. All others will be fine for them.
