GTX 970 SLI vs 980ti
Hey guys I'm back, was wondering if it's better to go with two 970's or one 980ti. With the 980ti it's a i7 4770k the Two 970's is a i7 4790k. I KNOW ITS NOT OPTIMIZED YET but overall if I'm streaming recording and such what would you all do? (Same price range so don't bring price into it) Thanks <3

Don't know what the plans are for SLI support with the new renderer.
But eventually I'd say the advice for finished DayZ would be the same as for most games.
Personally I'd rather have one good card than 2 almost as good cards.
Worst case you can always get a 2nd one later and it will be cheaper then.

As in good enough for just about any game currently available lol. If I had an extra $600 or so dollars I'd pick up a GTX 980ti. But I don't, so I picked up a 960 :P

personally i have a strix 980ti and it destroys everything. (other than dayz) honestly for compatability issues id go with 1 980ti. ;)

For the price, 970 fits very well ;)

I'd recommend a single 980ti man. I'm using a single 980 and have no problems, except with literally one game... That game being ARK:Survival Evolved, which is a GPU devouring monster in the first place. However, a 980ti can even run that game on fully epic settings without problems as I have a friend that owns one of those. I have literally seen his 980ti card outperform titans in some cases. That thing is nuts. XD

Twin 970s in SLI, if you're running 4k or planning to, can actually bog down and choke at those levels. So that's something else to keep in mind.
