Where to find barrels in Cherno???

Hey ive been looking for a tent or barrel for like 1hour now, does anybody know where to find??

You will not find any barrels. There is limited amount of barrel per server and everyone is probably already collected, so they will not respawn anymore. This make everything that requires barrel useless, because there is no barrels. I think that barrels shouldn't be presistant if they are required for crafting items. It's so stupid.

The moniker says it all... and less than 50 hours in game at that...

Barrels can be found in industrial areas and storage sheds but are somewhat rare due to the law of supply and demand. LOL. :j

Tents are usually in apartment buildings, You know like the 5 story ones.. You can also find large 160ish car ports as well as army tents. The army tents have to be worn on your back like a backpack for transport so if you find one you have to figure if it's worth keeping your pack or getting the tent.

go to northwest airfield and server hop, lots of tents, i find barrel alot in sheds in like zelegnorsk and vybor, yes i am talking about .59 update,

not true at all. I have been building up my barrel collection oven teh last week. I have 10 barrels now. Every no and then u find one in the woods. But i find one in towns every hour or so.

I've found that the harder I look for something in DayZ the less likely that I will find it...

I consistently play on the same server and for the most part stick to the NW quadrant, unless I get that "black screen of death" and am forced to make my way off the coast again. LOL.

Having said that, I've found 3 barrels over the last two weeks and was never really looking for them at the time I found them... so, they're out there, but as I said before; somewhat rare. Just keep looking, don't pass up any shed no matter how trivial looking it may be. Good Luck. :j

Yeah... I won't give up until I find one, but It's little frustrating because I really need only one and I can't find it. I play on private server, so server hopping is not an option. I only hope it will not take another 20 hours. ;]

These things[dayz.gamepedia.com] occasionally carry a tent.

For the Big Military Tents, I haven't seen one since June.

Probably because the last time I played was in June.

Are you sure? It's been a good week and a bit since I played public but I was finding barrels left right and centre, maybe a good 10 in an hour.

Don't need to server hop.
Private server would explain it because people are more likely to make large bases, in my experience.
