I have found acceptance in knowing that I will never ever see the money that I put into the game and the servers ever materialize into what I think most of us had all hoped for even when the Zeds were in the game almong with trucks and the small amount of crafting that has emerged. Hey. there is this cool new game thats coming out, its a bit more PVP orientated, 1st person action, but is similar to Dayz, if you guys like Dayz, but want a bit more of a PVP action based game, definitely check it out. It may be worth it. what do you guys think?

You cant play EFT at this time even.It didnt even come out and yet OP this that cuz of an amazing trailer which basically was rigged,thinks this game is going to be 10/10 Dayz killer.

Yes.I dont understand why people think Dayz will die after some new survival game comes out.
You now some people can play both,some just Dayz and some the new game.
Its just preference.

I was unaware of that to be honest. I will confess that I looked at the games price, and came to the conclusion that, given its state of development, the fact that I have only seen game play trailers, and the fact that it IS NOT on Steam, that it was too much of a risk to take.

Had it been listed on Steam as an EA, then I might have considered it, but I do not commonly buy games that do not have a Steam listing, or at least a listing on other third party DRM such as Origin, or Uplay etc...

I did suspect though, that the game play trailer may have been "rigged" in some way, since it is equivalent to Ad Testing, and businesses need to drum up interest some how. However, I think to develop a game like this, without the support of an agent like Steam, is a bad sign, and that not only the project, but also the business, will likely fail.

This will be as much of a DayZ Killer like Infestation:SurvivorStories/WarZ,comes from the same corner of the earth and will have the same shortcomings. Game will be forgotten in 6+months and the upcoming "early access" of it will make that clear. Fancy gfx and big promises will help get a project off the ground but if making a quick buck is the only thing in mind of the developers, we all know how it ends.

Wow, such butthurt on both sides. I'm neither a fanboy nor a hater so I'll wait and see. As it is, it looks like everything SA wanted to be, or at least, what a majority of people wanted/wished it would be.

If what artic says is true, and I have no reason to doubt him, then it does not appear to be.

It appears to me, to be an ad test, designed to bring in potential custom, and eventually a revenue stream, for a none tangible, none current, asset, which may yet turn into a none tangible, none current, liability.

I think that is the only way that I can currently define it, to be honest.

I'd much rather think of it as hopefully another interesting open world game in the future. I'd rather have multiple survival games to enjoy than being loyal to just one for no particular reason.

Either way, this thread really does not belong here, and is evidently just fueling pointless arguments and bickering.
