DayZ
How to limit the FPS in DayZ?
I have a 144Hz Monitor and want to limit the FPS in DayZ to 60, because i don't want that my GTX 770 will go up to 144 and run to loud. I don't want to limit the FPS for my whole PC, because i'm playing CS:GO and other games where i want to have 144 FPS. Can someone help me. Thanks :D

Sure? I think VSync limit the FPS to the Hz of your Monitor. In my case 144 FPS...

Right that's what it does more me duh. Google is your friend then. Would've been faster than posting here probably.
Though I'd be very impressed with you getting anywhere near 144 fps on DayZ, even half that is bloody good.

I find it hard to believe you can get 144 fps in DayZ.

When i have 60 Fps and it still try to go higher (Not in a city), my graphiccard will die^^

I have a GTX 970 and I7 4790k and can get barely 30 FPS in cities.

Must be some processor, the I7 4790k is one of the best you can get.

I have an I7-4790k, but i mean: When it comes to more than 60 Fps, then i don't want that the system will run with more that 60 FPS in DayZ! So i asked, if i can limit it in the config or in the launch options.

goto documents/dayz folder & open the dayz.cfg file with notepad

locate this line: "refresh=144;" and set it to refresh=60;

Thank you for this^^ No further questions from my side...

If you dont want to use vsync, you could install MSi Afterburner, which comes with Riva Tuner and use the latter to limit fps to any chosen amount.
My I7-4790k run with water-cooling. Can i use VSync and "refresh=60" at the same time?
