Best places for loot in 0.59?

I've returned to DayZ for about a week now but still having trouble with the new loot system. I haven't played seriously since 0.56 or .57 so not quite sure what the best buildings are. I've never found anything in the jail buildings at balota airfield, so I'm wondering if they still spawn anything? Also, what are the best buildings to find ammo in? I find tons of guns but ammo is pretty rare especially for mosin.

Also, this is unrelated to loot but why am I hearing people's voices who aren't near me at all? Occasionally I hear conversations ingame happening all the way over in Elektro when I'm in Cherno or even further. It has given me a bit of a fright at times, although I have also heard all sorts of interesting and funny stuff. I don't remember having this telepathy in previous updates, what is causing it now?

just play the game and figure out yourself, and the its a bug happens when you die. You can still hear people next to where you died at before.

yea, totally forgot that. Tac.Wolf is right - this is most likely the issue

I don't know if it's admins though, it sounds like ordinary players. Also, I am on The Civ server where they are pretty serious about no explicit or offensive language and I've heard people say some bad sh*t. Also if it was admins talking on global, they would be saying server messages or whatever but again this is people cussing at each other and stuff.

I returned to dayz myself just few days ago. Best loot places are definitely police station. Backpacks seems to spawn in every random building, as well for guns like mosins and repeaters, just random houses. Its hard to find ammo though. Guns are more common to find, ammo however not

kamenka and balota has pretty good loot then go to the military base wich is left from the map west

CLE is back and better you can find sks bullets in houses now WUT!!!! lol just keep looting everywere man you will be ok, i dont go for mil gear me self, but if you want go check tents heli sites

You specifically mentioned Mosin ammo ... are you aware that you can no longer fit a long range scope to a Mosin which makes it less useful as a weapon?

police stations(u can farm them), military barracks, tents at Myshkino & NWAF
