What do I do with my sardines?

I've caught many sardines with small fish traps, but does anyone know how to cook or prepare them at all?

In a fire. I think cooking might be bugged right now, not sure. If not, grab some sticks or fire wood and make a fireplace kit. You can find sticks on the floor in the forests. Place the kit in a fire place inside a house, then add firewood and use matches to start it, or I believe there is a way to make a flint and use that.
Place a cooking pot on the fireplace and cook.
There are other ways to cook but that would be the easiest.
