Looting trough the walls fixed?

My base got looted through the wall front of my eyes 2 times. Its fixed or not?

If I had to guess, probably not.

Don’t put any storage items right up against the inside of your walls - it is possible to loot through walls. Always run outside around your base and check to be sure.

I never build bases. Too time consuming just simply finding the tools and materials needed.

Has it? The last time I actually built a base was probably about a year ago and it was still a thing.

Recently I set up a tent (not sure if you’d consider this a base) with 2 wooden chests inside it, and I was able to loot those along with the tent storage from outside the tent.

Sea Chests and Wooden Crates can't be "closed" like a Barrel, so yeah, you can loot them from outside a tent if you're in the proximity .. the Tent itself though, you should not be able to loot without being in the middle of it.

I could be mistaken about the tent storage but yeah definitely the storage boxes. I swear I remember being able to see the tent inventory though if I stood outside near that back corner where the little pouch is.
