Why is it so difficult to get a vehicle on official servers?

After the 1.25 update there were plenty, probably because loot had been reset(?).
I haven't seen a usable vehicle for a long time. I use the online map to find their location, but no luck.

they are taken from the spawn to somewhere esle. afaik theyre limited in number and i sometimes find cars trapped in places with ruined everything but they dont despawn

Chances are you will never find one that’s working you will need to find parts and fix one up yourself

Look in the bigger bases they usually have one or two you can steal

Remember you can server hop for parts

You're more likely to find a hidden car than a freshly spawned one. Search the edges of the maps, and any thick looking spruce woods. Those are the most common temporary hiding places.

It's best to carry a battery and a sparkplug or two, as people often take those out when they leave the car unattended.

If you're lucky, you might manage to steal a parked car while the owners are busy looting, so if it sounds like someone is clearing out zombies in a major loot spot, you might want to check the road leading there. Could be a car parked behind some bushes nearby.

Thanks all.

I found a humvee with 3 wheels after the 1.25 update. Managed to carry a humvee wheel 1.5km, from NWAF to a field near Stary Sobor, but I crashed it a few days later.
I'm currently carrying a 10kg battery and 2 spark plugs. I'm ready.

It’s always good to have a radiator and some water too

Remember you can carry gasoline in any container just make sure you don’t drink it

I used to poison a couple food sources and keep them in a specific article of clothing, same with water bottles (before it was easily identified back in the day). I remember I made a mistake once and passed my friend a bottle of gasoline instead of water. A few minutes later he goes, "John, why does my mouth taste funny?". Good times :D

The goal of my doing this was that when I did die, I would possibly get the last laugh. But you can't poison your food anymore with disinfectant spray sadly.
