tbh, I have never heard of anyone hosting their own local Xbox server on a PC, only of those hosted on Rental services like Nitrado who provide the Console server software.
thanks for this buddy, i had an idea that might be the case.
I have the Same server running a 7 Days to Die server when i turn it on. I have not found comprehensive instructions on setting up a DayZ Dedicated Server.

You wanna share your graphic card through your virtual machine to play a game with a kernel level access anticheat to layer your operating system?
Well, you can't.
Some anti-cheats may straight up ban you if you manage to make it work under a virtual machine and it notices / detects it.
Because they say "that's how cheater cheats".
When most of the cheaters are on Windows anyway.
