Wasn't DayZ free to keep before? (SOLVED)
I swear I had it in my library and even played it a few times. It wasn't a free weekend, the game was free to claim. What happened to that?

There was a DLC for this for battle royale at some point, but it never had twitch drops or steam inventory.
Maybe you're thinking about H1Z1?

Nah, its never done it. It has done several free weekends in the past 2 years.

no, I KNOW I had it in my library because I randomly downloaded it multiple times after months of not playing; right when the battle royale craze started, dayZ became free to keep for some time and I claimed it during that... or maybe I claimed it from twitch, idk, the important part is it's not in my library anymore

Dayz was originally a mod for Arma 2. Two years later it was made into a separate standalone game. Arma 2 may have been free at some point, I'm pretty sure Dayz standalone hasn't.

no it wasn't Arma, it was DayZ, and it was kinda dead when this happened. I now just looked and even my dayz inventory disappeared...

This game does not do twitch drops, also its never been free. only free weekends.
