If you play the game modded and server hop, expect to have several copies of large mods, repacking is a damn plague with this game and the workshop seriously needs to be cleaned up. Repacking is just an inconvenience to everyone else when you can run a script to auto-update your server mods instead.
Baddogs still hasn't figured out how to use Wifi without it lagging, so I shouldn't be surprised.
steam/common/dayz/dzsa
Here's how you create them
https://www.howtogeek.com/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/
And if you need someone to set up your Wifi, I can do it for $200. Same rate I'll be charging my next customer for their Wifi setup. It will even let you play games without lag or connection dropping, utilizing technology from 10 years ago. Amazing, right?
"DZSA does not make a special directory and download an extra copy. the location is the same one as if you downloaded them in steam. dayzsal just make a pointer to them. better you should unsub since steam will queue up updates for them. "
Go to steam/steamapps/common/DayZ.
In there is a file called workshop. That is where the game
stores the modlist for the vanilla launcher.
If you have DZSA installed there will also be a file called !dzsa
There you will find an IDENTICAL modliist the EXACT same size..
Ergo moslist duped..
Pretty easy to check, i even told 1337dude where to look,
they should have checked, Like i just did before hitting keys.
Really, some people..
They are duped only in folder name baddogs, they are symlinks as mentioned, basically shortcuts. The vanilla launcher uses them too. If you go to \steamapps\workshop\content\221100, those are the actual mod folders. The /steamapps/common/DayZ/!Workshop folder you mentioned contains symlinks to that 221100 base folder, same as the "!dzsal" folder does, and names them in the process according to their workshop names.
I have several that are Gigabite sized. A copy would
not be that big. Please explain.
or ill just post it from here lol

Yeah i see what your getting at, Having gone through mine again
there are several that measures in kb but, why does it say some
of mine are Gigabyte sized? That's whats confusing the issue for me.
Also thank you for not being rude or sarcastic, appreciate that.
