whats the best settings to run dayz

i seem to have messed up the settins on my dayz, and cant seem to get it back the way it was (and default doesnt work) most of what i try makes it too stretched, and when selecting a server, i cant see half the screen. i have a 23 inch lcd monitor if that helps at all. just wanting to know some recommended visual settings.

Go into settings and User Interface and set it to your monitors maximum res.

is there a way to check the max res from the computer?

thank you. that first video is exactly what was happening!! fixed it right up

Right click your desktop, go to personalization, click display, then click adjust resolution. You should see your res on that screen. Its probably 1920x1080.

Go into DayZ and set the games render res to whatever your res is (The one that says "(100%)" after it)
Then go in the UI options and set that res the same as your monitor.
Rest of the game options you can just play around with.
