problem with dayz private server

Hello. I have a problem with dayz, I create my own private server on Omega manager, and it starts working, it turns on, then I start the game dayz and it doesn't show me the servers, at the bottom it says "steam is not connected", maybe someone had the same problem, please help

And how did you " I create my own private server on Omega manager," .. Did you rent a Server? or are you using Omega to manage a Local/LAN Server?

I use it for management. because I want to play alone, and I saw on YouTube that a guy was setting up a server via Omega, and when it starts, Steam immediately disconnects from the Internet and the server works.. but when I use "dayz server" and turn on the server, everything works, I can enter it and play normally. but I don't have mods and I wanted to play with mods

If you are using the Steam download of DayZ Server running a Local Server on your own PC, you do not need any "management" software .. You just need to write a ServerDZ.cfg file, and a ServerStart.bat file, where your Mods will be enabled.

You can either search the forums for some recent threads on similar topics, or search Youtube for "Scalespeeder Gaming", then search thru their videos for "Local Server". They even provide some sample files on their linked Github page.

just download the dayz server (tool) install it then change dayz launch options and server launch options to: -config=serverDZ.cfg

then BOOM u have a private server :)

if u have any questions bout spawning items and stuff lemme know

For anyone reading this in the future, don't do this.
The As-Downloaded DayZ Server software on Steam is INCOMPLETE .. You still need to Edit the included ServerDZ.cfg file, and write your own Start batch file in order for the "server" to work.
