Best assault riffle in Dayz

Which assault riffle is the best one in dayz?
m4-a1 or ka-m? which one do you prefer

according to this the VSS (9x39) hits with 95 health and 66 concussion vs 110/ 100 for .308.
the only advantage is it's additional armor breaking value.

the integrated suppressor is the best about the VSS (especially since you don't have to repair it) and as Enforcer said, it has a terrible bullet drop (like throwing stones, lol).

anyway, they're both high end weapons, one for the commando and one for the grunt ;)

MP9 , our the Mp7 ......Less range but enemy has no change of fire back at you.

But that's not an assault rifle like the majority of suggestions...so far the only assault rifles in game are the M4 and AK.

Damage: KAM
Accuracy: KA101
Cool-factor: M4
Ammo commonality: KAM or KA74, depending on where you are


Note, the LAR is not an assault rifle, but a battle rifle.

The lar is a battle rifle. Only assault rifles in-game are the M4, KAM, KA74 (and kas74u) AND KA101

Sorry I forgot about you. That is what I did after your usual non answer...I got this:
An assault rifle is designed with automatic or burst fire primarily in mind, while a battle rifle is designed with semi-automatic fire in mind. Assault rifles thus are typically shorter and feature higher cyclical rates of fire in smaller calibers... Was interesting even if ultimately useless information. Thanks for the time though.
