Keep joining the same server, altough i pick another one...

Hi all,

i am currently getting pretty frustrated with the game as i can't switch the server i am playing on. I keep getting re-directed to one specific server, it does not matter weather its through the launcher or ingame.

What i have figured out so far:
- Keeps happening for all "Namalsk" Servers with roughly the same mods
- Uninstalling all mods and trying to join a new server + download all the mods there does not help
- It is however possible for me to join a server with a completely different map

The problem is that i really enjoy namalsk (especially the spring version) and want to hop on a different server to play with friends.

Any ideas?

if nothing else helps, delete your DayZ folder under 'documents' as well as the DayZ Launcher folder under 'user>appdata>local' and verify files afterwards.

Hello, I tried both and they do not work, they all connected me to the previous server

The server browsers can be a bit funny. Ensure the game isn't running, just the server browser, select a new server and click "set up mods and join"
I've had similar issues previously, I've found they happen when I have the game running mostly.

try if deleting the 'DayZ Launcher' folder under 'AppData' fixes the issue.

Yes, go in the Launcher, and "unload" all the active mods.
- Close the launcher and go to the Steam Workshop and UNsubscribe from ALL mods.
- re-launch the Launcher and allow to update the mods list .. all should be gone.
- next go to the Steam button at the top left of your screen, click, and go to;
Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache .. select to clear the download cache, and allow Steam to restart.

After restarting Steam and launching the Launcher, join an OFFICIAL server just once .. You don't have to play this server, you just need to join an OFFICIAL server to reset the History.

You should now be able to join any server .. Just pay attention to the Mods you install, so you don't get trapped again.

its not working for me at all. But what i found interesting is that all of the namalsk servers have the same 8 mods for me

note: Im abaut to lose my ♥♥♥♥

"BGZ Storage" and "BGZ Namalsk 3PP" are your problem mods .. get rid of them.
-- Without the mods installed on your PC, you can NOT be forced to join a BGZ server, it will be rejected.

connect to the last server you played on, then cancel the connection before the time is up (if the server has their connection timer set to zero, you will instantly join, in which case just exit again.) This will fix the error and you should be able to join a diff server

Sounds like the problem is that you are joining one of these Dayzed servers.
Some work, but most don't.
Avoid all servers featuring that mod (most community servers... leading me to think that this game is nowhere as popular as the Steam Charts show) and you shouldn't have a problem.

No, the solution to your problem was not to download and install 3rd party software .. all you had to do was click the button that says "Unload ALL Mods", close the Launcher, Unsubscribe from that servers Mods, and then restart the Launcher. You can't join (or be forced to join) a modded server without the mods installed.

I tried this and it does not work at all. Third party launcher solved all the problems

go to steam, remove all mods, then delete your dayz documents folder, restart PC, and the dont log in that server again. Manhunt is just one doing that.. basically if its over 70 player count chances are good its bad news

Use the DayZSA launcher instead, the normal one is bugged somehow. It seems to "lock" you to a server for some reason...

It's not a Launcher problem. It's a problem with a few particular servers that have malicious scripts in their Mod Packs.

i am still have this problem , joined me on bgz servers or manhunt servers on difrent maps, livonia namalsk cherno always servers with manhunt or bgz
