Ghillie Gun Wrap Issue?

I added a ghillie gun wrap to my SVD and had another rifle on my back, I used a well to refill my canteen and normally without the wrap the gun goes to the ground and is auto picked up after the canteen is filled; After putting the wrap on and doing this the gun disappeared. Is this common do to the ghillie wrap or a glitch? Note: Walked around the entire area with inventory open to see if it would appear with no luck. Thanks: Mjr. Lee Fubar

It's nothing to do with the wrap bud, just a gun glitch in general. It will sometimes disappear altogether, other times if you relog it will be there, or the last place you did an action like crouch etc, or the nearest road.

also for future reference if it dissapears in a house then check door ways or the exterior perimeter.
