Cant't wait
Hicks says in the video the current iteration of the renderer has a performance improvement of 30-40% over current tech, likely on the systems they've tested it on. This will likely increase as it continues to be developed and optimizations take place.

entitled: DayZ / Enfusion W.I.P. Preview - Direct X 11 Renderer (14 Feb 16) Build 131617
Hicks explains its a video comparison of the old direct x9 rendering, to the new Enfusion direct x11 rendering.
Hope your all excited as much as I am :D
and I apologize, I didnt notice it was pinned XD its rare that you guys pin new stuff other than status reports, my bad
cant wait to see what they do with fog in this game, if they can make the rain make it look creepy out there.
I'm with the guys saying it looks great so far though, gives rainy days a much more overcast and gloomy atmosphere for sure, which is just perfect.
I noticed the weird "water effect" on the player too (or was I seeing things?) early iteration of rain splatter on the player body? Small but nice :) looks like it needs a little work though. I guess that will wash any blood off our hands too?
