0xC0000135 - STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND dayz

I need help with this error Code i have been trying for hours to get this game to start (reinstalling directx,steam,all games, c++ redists 64x and 86x and trying sfc /scannow , updating all drivers and windows)

there should be error logs generated by the game that tells you the exact missing DLL

It just says 0xC0000135 STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND

Exactly the same has happened to me, happened the day of the 1.23 update. I've spent 6,7,8 hours trying different things, still can't get it to work!

I now know the answer MFReadWrite.dll was missing

Verify your Game Files from the Properties tab (gear icon) of the game's library page.

Oh yeah that's been done more than once, as well as uninstalling then reinstalling the game. Still not working!

Would love to try that... the question is how do we UNINSTALL it first? The installer won't just install, it says there is a newer or equivalent version, and the installer can only be closed. I search for that online and it's not so clear how to uninstall Directx.
