why does my game always put me into manhunt server regardless of which server i try join lmao

Because those manhunt servers hijack your launcher/client. Not sure why they still exist, surely someone can do something about getting them shut down.

Try using the DZSA Launcher as a work around. https://dayzsalauncher.com/#/home

Open Game Launcher.
Click Mods Tab.
Click "Unload All".
Close Launcher.
Wait about 10 seconds.
Open Game Launcher and select new server.
