Bugged sickness

Friend of mine has the cold/flu, legit hasn't disappeared and he's had it for over 3 hours. Both his water and food are white, the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with this game?

the game devs dont make house calls to teach you how to play the game just watch a tutorial video so you know how it all works

any true game bug would be fixed by killing the character, if it keeps happening to you then you are just getting sick and need to be more careful

I don't think the regular cold lasting 3+ hours when we are warm and well fed has anything to do with "in game mechanics." The game is a buggy and broken piece of ♥♥♥♥ and you know it. Zombies glitch into cars, through walls and hit you through walls. Guns, items and the player fall through the map. Basic hud elements just disappearing despite pressing ~ to configure them and require 3 restarts to just fix it.

I can legitimately confirm it was not the Flu as that gives blurry vision and a fever, it was the cold. Just sneezing and coughing. Friend was well insulated, warm and had plenty of food and drink.

its normal to get frustrated but there is no need to rage and make stuff up about the game, you guys just keep getting sick thats all

there is no bug that makes you sick all the time, remember the game isnt meant to be easy you just gotta learn how it works

they do make servers that have the sickness system completely removed

if you keep getting sick then you are doing something wrong and blaming the game for it is ridiculous

if it was a game bug we would all experience it, just watch a tutorial and learn how to avoid it like everyone else does

if u think theres something wrong with the game, report it at the right place with as detatailed ("my stats are white" might not be enough) information as possible and move on from this discussion, as this just goes back and forth.

i watched a streamer called "Dellor" and he kept getting sick over and over, while his stats all white and his clothes were dry.
So somebody in chat typed "you picked up the mask from the body, its infected"
he listened to that chatter and took of the mask, threw it away and sickness went away and never came back to his character

Thats why i recommended it, im not trolling. If its false information then its fine, it probably just a coincidence that i saw.

water containers are not tainted? i have had colds last a good bit before, could just be draw of bad luck. idk, 3hrs does not sound that far fetched though to me.

Mt friend and I played for a few hours last night and we constantly kept getting sick, just the cold. We keep having to take tetra and vitamins and the cycle just keeps repeating. We run around for a bit, get the sick icon, take a tetra, the sick Icon goes away, then about 5-10 minutes later, we are both sick again. It's staggered a bit now between happening because I delayed my vitamin/tetra, but it almost seems like its on a timer. He gets sick about 4 minutes before me now. We are dispersed and rarely spend a lot of time in the same rooms or in close contact with each other.

It has to be something with 1.21. I noticed I'm getting sick for no reason now and it's getting quite annoying. 10 minutes after spawning and I'm already coughing/sneezing.
