Help - official servers - metal walls

Do i need to make the upper wall metal, or should i rather spread the metal on my other walls but make only the lower part metal ?

Is there any benefit to making the upper wall metal ? During a raid people destroy only the bottom part anyway

On Official servers, it really is just what you want it to look like, because there are other vulnerabilities that make metal moot .. like the gaps between every section of the watch tower levels or the gaps where fence sections meet .. shoot thru the gaps, and take as long as you need to raid the toughest wall or lock.

i have 8 metal walls (only buttom) with 8 code locks on official right now after wipe, so far nobody probably even has materials to blow up 8 walls, but i was just thinking is it worth making the upper walls metal too, since i have a car and im able to go collect more metal walls

If you have "code locks" you are NOT on Official Servers .. Code Lock is a MOD.

official servers have code locks also. The stupid ones where you need to slowly input every single number one by one.

yeah, 3 dial (easy=5 minutes to try every combination) and 4 dial (harder=20 minutes to try every combination). In twenty minutes of night time when most people log off, I can raid your base, take your stuff, and lock up so you never know how I got in, or I can change your combo and lock you out .. it don't matter what your walls are made of on Official servers.

modded servers dont have base damage, you have to cut the locks off

so wrong, 20 minutes to do every combination on a 3 dial, and 2.5 hours to do EVERY combo on a 4 dial.

I'm curious, what type of building is this base in? 8 walls is a lot for a vanilla base.

If it's on the upper floors of an apartment building, seasoned raiders will simply shoot the frames from the floor below, bypassing the metal entirely. Same with the beige house.

here you go m8, this was my base, today i logged in an found out people just used the Gates glitch from tiktok, to bypass all my 10 doors and steal all my loot on NL-34
Thank god i only played a few days after wipe, and didnt have insane loot yet like SVD's NVG's and M4A1/AKM's but im never building on official servers again, like seriously ? There has just been released a new patch and the devs didnt fix the gate glitch ? Pathetic.

Its the white building that is in every single city, you can fit like 15 walls on first and second floor, without it even being visible from outside. Have fun

It depends of the mods servers. Most of them still have base damages operational...
