Can't switch/unequip weapon - Why hasn't this been fixed?

I have died twice now to the glitch where I can't switch or un-equip my weapon in the middle of a fight. People have been complaining about this for years, why has this not been fixed??? Disgusting

I don't have this problem. Perhaps your PC needs some new parts?

This usually happens for one of 2 reasons,
1. You do not have space in your Inventory
2. Server De Sync's this is either the Server or your connection to the server. Try another server.

Most likely is #2 from R[e]venge's reply. Desync server side. Not five minutes ago, I had an infected walk right through a house door I closed behind me, attack me, then just disappeared. I don't know if it went through the opposite wall or the floor. It hit me once and was just gone.
Although playable, this game is a bugfest. BI seems to like to change things that aren't broke with unstable updates that break things.

game is a mess currently. Last patc really broke a lot of stuff. happens literally every 15 minutes to me now

I tried dragging them to the ground and it wouldn't work. The zombies kept attacking me regardless, so it's not a server issue.

Really pisses me off that after all these years their game is still broken

i think it is the old hand bug, started to happen since the last patch again, got to restart

I get this bug when I switch too fast between items. Relog fixes, but its annoying. Died once so far from it but got my gear back right away.
